Hello first weekend of Spring Break 2012…I’ve missed you, it’s been a long time and I’m ready to enjoy! Although there won’t be a beach this time around, I know there will be plenty to enjoy.
Dave’s cooking showed it’s delicious face, he cooked up his rendition of “Thomas Keller’s Roasted Chicken”…such a simple and flavorful dish, we managed to get 8 meals out of the chicken and veggies (1/2 of which Dave re-purposed into a chicken, rice & veggie soup to help cure my ailment of a tummy ache on Sunday)
Dave roasted a whole chicken with salt & pepper, olive oil, portabella mushrooms, scallions, broccoli, baby carrots, potatoes, yellow bell peppers & garlic cloves

Friday night, we enjoyed opening night of “Friends with Kids” at Alamo Drafthouse…such a funny movie, we recommend….
We ordered a few apps and some yummy entrees…no pics allowed during the movie please?
